Consider adding the Multi-Plugin written by someone called localhost (you can find the plugin in the AquaSoft iTunes forum). This plugin can modify some aspects of iTunes, the coolest of which is changing the window title to reflect the currently playing song, so now you can see what's playing in iTunes just by looking at your Taskbar! For more advanced iTunes control in Windows, try the iTunes widget for Kapsules. Or, try iTunesBar or Power Tunes, both of which are configs written by Atreide for Samurize. Or, install the iTunes docklet (also written by localhost, the author of Multi-Plugin) for ObjectDock (a windows version of the Mac OS X Dock). There is another ObjectDock docklet called SysStats for which someone has written an iTunes config. I can't get SysStats to work at all, though, so I can't test the iTunes config, but it looks like it would be nice! Other cool add-ons for iTunes are iTC (a simple controller) and iArt (an artwork downloader, formerly known as iTunesCover). |
